Secrets are cool. They have special powers, at least with six and five year olds. There's nothing like the feeling of a child trying to tell you a secret, but they're super excited, and usually giggling, and they end up getting your ear kind of wet when they tell you. It's so gross, but so fun at the same time. Few things hold that kind of power.
In this picture, Railey's telling Karalyn a secret. They were on great-grandpa’s pontoon, waiting for him to find a good fishing spot and something was worthy of a secret. I have no idea what it was, but the picture is drawing me in the same. I really want to know what she was telling her!
The looks on their faces are beyond precious, and remind me it's the little things that bring pure happiness.
